Software Project Manager

This person will report to the President and be responsible for leading a team of 15 engineers in a very flat organization. Ideal candidate will have hands on development experience with 802.11, routers or high speed networking products and have managed teams in a start up environment. Emphasis is on keeping project on schedule and working directly with engineering team to apply resources where needed and mentor/motivate development group. Team is split between Silicon Valley and Europe and ability to manage remote offices is a requirement.

Compensation: Salary, plus stock options and performance bonus. Full medical and 401k benefits.

Requirements:
  • Hands on experience with 802.11, routers or high speed networks.
  • 2+ years management experience.
  • 1+ years managing remote office.
  • Ability to work one on one with senior engineering staff to ensure timely delivery of complex software solutions.
  • Ability to work in rapidly changing environment and be comfortable working with relatively short development cycles.
  • A no nonsense approach to development with minimal “processes” and a focus on rapid delivery of quality products is essential.

Lead QA/SVT Engineer

Initially this will be an individual contributor reporting to the VP of Engineering. Ideal candidate will have extensive datacom and wireless (802.11) testing background. An emphasis is on someone who has worked in a high pace environment were the ultimate goal is to develop comprehensive test suites to provide maximum test coverage in the most efficient manor. Someone who can think outside the box and be creative will be rewarded.

Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge in networking and routing equipment and software testing.
  • Experience and knowledge in testing 802.11 wireless performance and compatibility a big plus.
  • Knowledge in specific networking performance benchmarking tools such as IXP Chariot and IPerf highly desired.
  • Well organized, fast learner, and aggressive take charge personality a must.
  • Ability to generate efficient, organized, and well articulated testing plans and reports; generating necessary tables, graphs, and diagrams to organize test data and draw conclusions.
  • Capable of creatively setting up testing environments to isolate and troubleshoot problems using any tools necessary for automation and analysis.
